縄文土器の文様のように水や風の流れといった自然のエネルギーをモチーフに、金属を削り出したその痕の美しさをそのままアクセサリーにした。身に着けた人が動いたり見る方向が変わることで、切削痕が光を受けて不思議な立体感を持って輝く。

Inspired by natural energy flows such as water and wind, reminiscent of the intricate, swirling patterns found on Jomon pottery—ancient Japanese earthenware—this accessory captures the raw beauty of the cutting marks left in metal. As the wearer moves or shifts perspective, the marks catch the light and shimmer with a mysterious sense of depth.

人類の歴史は装飾の歴史でもある。人々は原初の頃から御守りや魔除け、祈りのために装飾を身に纏った。彼らは畏怖すべき自然の動きや現象のエネルギーを抽象化して文様とし、自らの身体に直接施したり、装身具として身に付けることで、その力を自分のものにしようとした。

The history of humanity is also a history of adornment. From the earliest times, people wore decorations as talismans, for protection, or as prayers. They abstracted the powerful movements and forces of nature into patterns, applying them directly to their bodies or wearing them as jewelry, in an effort to make those forces their own.

OOPARTS-003はうねる自然のエネルギーを5軸制御のマシニングセンタの動きに変換し、アルミニウムの塊に刻み込む。その切削痕がそのまま輝きを放つ文様となり、身を飾る装身具となる。

OOPARTS-003 transforms the swirling energy of nature into the movements of a 5-axis machining center, engraving those patterns into a solid block of aluminum. The resulting cutting marks become patterns that shine and adorn the body as jewelry.
