イタリアの照明会社Luminaよりリリースされたペンダントライト。職人により形作られたシェードは理化学器具などに使われるボロシリケイトガラス製で、中には日本製のオーガンジーによるディスクが浮かび、光を反射・透過する。

Aether is a suspension lamp released by Italian lighting company Lumina. Its design combines craftsmanship and innovation: the diffuser is crafted in transparent borosilicate glass, shaped through artisanal techniques to deliver a unique aesthetic quality. Inside, a delicate handmade petal of Japanese organza offers a level of transparency and light reflection that enhances the natural reflections of the fabric.

私たちは光の性質を探求するために、世界を構成する根源的な元素に注目したElements of Lightという照明シリーズをSaloneSatellite2022で展示した。 そのときのエーテルをテーマとしたペンダントライトのプロトタイプをベースに製品化され、2024年のミラノデザインウィークにて披露された。

We exhibited the lighting series “Elements of Light,” focusing on the fundamental elements that constitute the world, to explore the nature of light at SaloneSatellite 2022. Based on the prototype of a suspension light with a theme of aether presented at that time, this lamp was developed and showcased 2024.
